Parents are our first teachers. With growing up, I have found that saying is true, for the love and advice that they give are selfless and precious.

I have learned how to be positive-minded from my mother. She never admits being defeated and never gives up. Whenever she feels frustration, no matter in life or in career, she tries her best to conquer it. Now I am still making effort to be closer to her.

I have learned how to be optimistic from my father. My father did not get higher education. So he only finds some hard job and earns less than my mother. But he never complains about these or quit the job. In contrast, he cites this as an example to prove the importance of education. His optimism always moves me and pushes me ahead.

From my parents, I have also learned that love is not honeyed words. I think my parents are special – they never behave sweetly as other couples. However from what they have said and done, I know they love each other so much. They quarrel because they care for each other so much. Such lifestyle is easy and interesting.

My parents are good examples for me. I love and thank them.
