How did I Spend My Festival

Last year’s Spring Festival is special. My uncle and my aunt came to my home. My family were very happy to keep the Spring Festival with them. And it was the most exciting festival of all the festivals.

On New Year’s Eve, my father and my uncle talked about their work together. My mum did some cooking with my aunt Grandparents and I watched the New Year TV programmes. At about six o’clock, we had a special family dinner. We all thought the dumplings were delicious.

On the first day of the New Year, we visited our relatives. In the afternoon, we went shopping in Jiefanf Road. My uncle bought some Jay’s CDs. He likes Jay’s music very much. There were so many people on the road. It was more alive than any other time of a year.

On the second and the third days, we spent a wonderful weekend in the country. There were much bigger trees than in the city. And the animals were more beautiful than in the city. We all enjoyed ourselves.

How to spend spring festival?
As we all known, The Spring Festival is a traditional festival in China. We were used to spending it at home with our families. But now, it seems that people's mind has been changing little by little.
Some people think it is more interesting to travel during The Festival Spring. With the improved living standard and the changed living style, more and more people choose the way of trip to celebrate their spring festival. May be they are tired of the way of staying at home: eating, drinking, sleeping, and then sleeping, eating, drinking. It seems as if every body spend this festival by the same way like that year by year. But travel can take some different thing to their mind. They may feel different custom if they go trip to another place where is far away from their home town. travel can make their heart and body relax and can help you to forget all pressures under their regular life so that they can enjoy their spring festival. May be that is not a bad choice. But in my opinion, I would rather celebrate my spring festival at home with my families. After all, this is Chinese traditional fest. It's a good chance to express your cares and kinds to your lovely families. In these days, we all are busy working and doing something else. We have little time to take care of our families seriously. staying at home with our families during the spring festival, which is just a chance to reduce our guilties for we have no time enough to stay with our families, especially our grandparents; they must enjoy our company. We can talk with one another about some funny thing that we experienced in the work or school; we also can discuss something about a program while we are watching TV. What's more, we can seek some new whatsit to entertain with. For example, to organize a little party for spring festival, make family members spending their festival among the laughter and screams.
Anyway, The Spring Festival is the most important festival in China. It's the best way of staying at home with your families.
