求教一个英语问题

首先原题应该是：It is beyond my ability to solve the problem. 中its...是不对的，应该是It is, 不是its。为啥ability 后面要用不定式 to solve the problem, 因为，这句话的真主语就是to solve the problem,因为较长，考虑到句子别头重脚轻，所以句子前用了一个形式主语“It”,代替“to solve the problem”。英语中类似的形式主语或逻辑主语的情况很多，形象点讲就是：英语句子基本上是“不倒翁”结构式的。

动词不定式作定语，修饰 ability。

Ability to do sth 是固定的吧

3.拆毁 短语 pull down 和tear down有什么区别？？

可见pull down 有推的感觉,把大的东西拆毁

tear down v. 扯下；诋毁；拆卸；逐条驳斥

拆卸, 扯下指的很小的东西.

tear本意就有撕毁嘛~!

不过也找到了如下:

The old cinema was torn down and replaced by a restaurant.
老电影院被拆毁，取而代之的是一个饭店。
So come and build bridges and tear down the wall.
我们来建一座桥。并推倒这墙。

这时候表现上看起来是没有区别的.

个人觉得,还是用pull的时候,有方向性. tear本身没有方向性.
