“情态动词”表推测时为什么不能用“can✀t”？

因为是can't 本身可表推测。

1. 情态动词表推测

2. 在肯定句中一般用must （一定）,can,could（可能）,might /may（也许,或许）。

3. 否定句中用can’t / couldn’t（不可能）,may not/might not（可能不）。

4. 疑问句中用can/could （能……?）。

5. can 和could表推测对现在或将来的推测,两者均可用,但can 通常只用于否定句或疑问句中不用于肯定句。

6. 而could则可用于肯定句,疑问否定句；对过去的推测,应在 can,could 之后接动词的完成式。

7. 此时can仍只用于否定句或疑问句,不用于肯定句。

8. 而could 则可用于各种句型.表推测时,英语中只使用must,may,might,may not和can't。

这几个表达的语气依次递减：

1. must:一定（语气肯定）。
   

2. may：也许（不很肯定）。
   

3. might：或许（比may语气更弱）。
   

4. may not：也许不（表否定）。
   

5. can't：一定不（must的反义）。
   

6. 推测现在的事情用must,may,might,may not和can't+do或be。
   

7. e.g.She must be at home now。
   

8. The boy may play now。
   

9. 推测过去的事情用must,may,might,may not和can't+have done。
   

10. e.g.She might have been ill yesterday。
    

11. He must have hold the party。
