梅仙复式背斜构成矿区基本构造轮廓并控制各矿床(点 ) 的分布。背斜轴向 NE65° ,长8km,宽5.5km,分别向两端双向倾伏。背斜轴部地层平缓,倾角5°~15°,由 龙北溪组组成,两翼地层稍陡,倾角20°~40°,由大岭组组成。矿区内矿点主要分布在梅 仙复式背斜的次级背斜的轴部。

区内断裂构造较发育,主要有北东向和北西向两组,其次有近南北向、北北东向及北 东东向等。断裂主要为成矿后构造,对含矿层位(矿体)的连续性起破坏作用。

不整合面是控制矿体分布的主要构造。不整合面在矿区内分布广泛,上覆岩系为中生 界火山岩盖层(侏罗系梨山组和长林组),下伏岩系为元古宙变质基底(中新元古界龙北 溪组和大岭组),不整合面分别向南东和北西倾伏,南东较缓,倾角小于15°,北西较陡,倾角大于20°。当不整合面较陡(倾角>30°),且与下伏绿片岩地层层面呈较大角度斜交时,则在不整合面两侧一定范围内(50~200m)均有利于成矿。一方面,在不整合面构造两侧,矿体的产状受不整合面产状的影响,且矿体的厚度和品位有增大变富的趋势;另一方面,在不整合面构造中,还产出有充填型的脉状矿体。
