What Caused The Financial Crisis?

I think we can sum up the cause of our current economic crisis in one word — GREED. Over the years, mortgage lenders were happy to lend money to people who couldn’t afford their mortgages. But they did it anyway because there was nothing to lose. These lenders were able to charge higher interest rates and make more money on sub-prime loans. If the borrowers default, they simply seized the house and put it back on the market. On top of that, they were able to pass the risk off to mortgage insurer or package these mortgages as mortgage-backed securities. Easy money!
and what went wrong with our financial system? The whole thing was one big scheme. Everything was great when houses were selling like hot cakes and their values go up every month. Lenders made it easier to borrow money, and the higher demand drove up house values. Higher house values means that lenders could lend out even bigger mortgages, and it also gave lenders some protection against foreclosures. All of this translates into more money for the lenders, insurers, and investors. Unfortunately, many borrowers got slammed when their adjustable mortgage finally adjusted. When too many of them couldn’t afford to make their payments, it causes these lenders to suffer from liquidity issue and to sit on more foreclosures than they could sell. Mortgage-backed securities became more risky and worth less causing investment firms like Lehman Brothers to suffer. Moreover, insurers like AIG who insured these bad mortgages also got in trouble.
The scheme worked well, but it reverses course and is now coming back to hurt everyone with a vengeance.中国面对世界金融危机，该如何应对？

中国的物价上涨是刚性上涨，不是泡沫，泡沫一般指流通过程中产生的过大利润，现在的PPI高于CPI， 流通环节已经不存在泡沫。

中国物价上涨直接原因是中国的资源（包括劳动力资源）价格上涨过快。因此要设法稳定源头物价，甚至不惜国家补贴，如农产品价格，能源价格和劳动力价格，管不住这几个价格，要想控制物价谈何容易？

中国物价上涨的间接原因是虚拟经济过大造成的，虚拟经济相对于实体经济来说就是指投资经济，其中包括炒房、炒地、炒收藏、炒兰花、炒宝石、炒黄金、炒外汇、炒基金、炒股票。这些东西炒来炒去，形成了一个巨大的虚拟经济，如果虚拟经济的出口没有国际化，也就是说国人自己炒来炒去，最后倒霉的还是自己。这些资金没有用于发展实体经济，却用来分享实体经济的成果，你想物价能不上涨吗？

因此控制物价的三大法宝是：稳定资源价格、收缩虚拟经济、发展实体经济。

中国股市是个大问题，但还不是最大的问题，最大的问题还不是股市，而是2亿股民，这2亿股民是经济实力的代表者，也是国家的栋梁，他们天天炒股，国家早晚得衰落下去。

国家的外汇储备可能没有经营好，美元变美元资产是个大问题，应该好好整理一下思路。保证国家与世界的流动性免遭冲击。

中国境内的热钱是对中国的潜在威胁，这个问题是潜藏在中国经济里的定时炸弹，要及早应对。既不能一下子赶走，也不能让它长期留在中国经济的血脉里。

中国应采取的措施是：

保发展，要保实体经济的发展，当务之急就是解困中小企业，解困房地产企业。

控物价，不能靠紧缩政策，最主要的是要控制资源物价（源头物价），甚至不惜补贴，压缩虚拟经济，发展实体经济。

不要像美国学习，制造房地产危机，中国的主要经济支柱就是固定资产投资，特别是房地产，中国信贷主要支持的也是固定资产投资（主要是地产），还有相当一部分是房贷，一旦房地产出现危机，中国经济就会出现危机，可以说股市不会给中国造成经济危机，房地产危机可以直接摧毁中国的经济。因此制造房地产危机等于自杀，自毁长城。和美国房地产危机不同，美国搞次贷危机可以向全世界转嫁，中国搞房地产危机只能由中国百姓承担，并且会直接摧毁中国的经济。

中国应从美国的危机中学到，保持完整稳定的经济运行环境是至关重要的，中国有很高的资金储备，应该及时释放，让中小企业和房地产早日免受流动性紧张（资金短缺）之困苦，让经济走向平稳发展的道路。

中国应认真对待股市问题，如果中国不设立股市的话，中国物价不会涨这么快，中国不适合过度发展虚拟经济，虚拟经济过大就会掠夺实体经济的成果，造成僧多肉少的局面。物价就会刚性上涨。如果中国还要高金融市场，就要解决大小非问题，大小非的问题不解决，其他措施都根本解决不了股市萧条的局面。

中国应从世界金融危机中学到，没有国际货币地位的国家，是不可能大规模的发展虚拟经济的，中国也不例外，中国目前还在大搞金融泡沫，搞融资融券，股指期货，将来会引来国际炒作，给中国人民造成巨大的伤害

However, I’m afraid there is one mistake I’d like to point out. It is “无所不为”. This idiom means “do all kinds of bad things”. Are you doing all kinds of bad things at home? I guess what you were really trying to say is that you’ve got nothing to do these days. In that case, you should use “无所事事” . We usually use “无所不为” to express the idea that people dare to do anything bad, and “无所事事” to describe the situation in which people have got nothing meaningful to do. Have I made myself clear?

As is reported, Oriental Greenboat is planning to change its name. Many citizens as well as the foreigners have great interest in giving a new name such as “Discovery Land” “Family Park” or “Youth Heaven”.

It suddenly occurs to me that why don’t we call it “The World of Discovery ”.I’ve got several reasons to account for it.

First of all, the word “world” has a more meaningful definition than “park” or “ land”. According to my visit, Oriental Greenboat covers a vast area, and it is more appropriate to call it a “world” rather than a “park”.

Secondly, Oriental Greenboat provide the chance to enhance the relationship between family members and promote friendship between the youth. We are give the opportunity to relax and enjoy ,thus discovering what is of great importance in our life. Thirdly , students are involved in many activities there. They come to discover how they should cooperate and overcome the difficulties with their own efforts. This is a world for them to discover how wonderful and able they are!

To sum up , I think it would be a wise choice to name it “ The World of Discovery”.
