Some Chinese festivals are neglected by us.There are several possible reasons for this phenomenon. First, the prevalence of English as a world language and the development of globalization enable western culture to flood in China. Second, Chinese traditional
festivals are inadequate in variety and monotony in format ,which are not popular among the young people.
Thus,in my opinion,it is important for us all to keep path with the international world,but as a Chinese,we should not forget our traditional festivals,they are our custom and they are also the treasure of our nation.We should cherish them and protect them well.

There could be various reasons why some traditional Chinese festivals are neglected. Among them, some of the festivals are too dull in terms of the activities involved, while others may contain too many moral instructive purposes or intentions, which can do nothing but make them too strict or too formal, especially for the young people today.
