Research and Analysis of Quality of Life of Senior Citizens in Urban Communities of Lin'an City
Abstract:
Purpose: Investigating the quality of life (QOL) of the senior citizens in the urban communities of Lin’an City and relevant determinants and providing suggestions and strategies for the improvement of their QOL.
Method: Conducting a study of 153 senior citizens living in the urban communities of Lin’an City by random sampling and analyzing the research data with SPSS.
Result: The major determinants of QOL include education, income, marital status, and frequency of participation in social activities.
Conclusion: Given the diverse determinants of the QOL of the said senior citizens, corresponding intervention measures should be taken to enhance the QOL of the senior citizens.
