too...to...的用法

too to结构是初二英语的重点,在课文中反复出现Tooto的意思是太而不能初学者要注意，这个结构本身含有否定的意思是太而不能

比如说：Tom太小，而不能去上学这一句话如何翻译？Tom is too old to go to school.翻译出的英文里没有出现no和not但是却能表达出而不能去上学的意思这是和我们汉语里不一样的地方这里我们一定不能受汉语思维的影响

说到tooto结构，就不能不说到另外两个结构not enough to 和so that结构

Not enough to表示不足够以致于...还用上面的句子来举例子Tom is too old to go to school.还可以这样翻译Tom isnt old enough to go to school.还可以这样来说Tom is so young that he cant go to school.

表示“太（怎么样）以至于不能（做某事）”（注意只表否定含义）

举例： The hat is too large to wear.这帽子太大，没法戴。
He walks too slowly to get there on time.他走得太慢，不能按时到达那儿。
I'm too tired to think of anything now.我太累了，什么也不能想了。

too 后面跟形容词或副词，to后面跟动词不定式，也可以间接理解为to 后面跟动词原形

太而......不能

如：He is too young to go to school。
他太小了不能去上学。
不明白hi我。
