先行词是人一般都用who.
举例：This is my teacher who is a nice man.
这是我的老师(他是个很好的人)。
如果先行词 人 在从句中做宾语用who/whom都可以。
举例：He is the man (whom/ who I saw yesterday.)
他是那个人(我昨天看到的)
先行词是物的用which.
举例：The building (which we are looking at )used to be a hospital.
这栋(我们正在看的)建筑过去是医院。
先行词是人或物，从句表示是谁的东西(可以是人，也可以是物)，用whose.
举例：They rushed over to help the man (whose car had broken down.)
他们冲过去帮助那人(他的车坏了)。
举例：I have lost a book (whose cover is blue.)
我丢了一本书(它的封面是蓝色的)。
