Objective of this course:

Through the learning of this course, students will be enabled to:

- understand some common terms and concepts, on the basis of computer knowledge;
- be familiarised to use Window XP operating system;
- use major Office software (Word, Office, Excel, PPT, etc),to process audio, video, animation type of information;
- acquire Internet entry knowledge, develop and maintain web site.

Through the learning of this couse, students will be trained with ability of self-learning to obtain latest computer knowledge and technology, and to acquire the three types of skill for word processing, data processing and information gathering.

In summary, this objective of this course is train students the applied skills of computer operations, handling of computer operating system, office software, surfing Internet, to improve their overal qualifications.

The objective of this course is to make understanding of some common computer terminologies and definitions with basic knowledge of computers. Students will be able to use Office software series with Windows XP platform (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc), able to process simple audio, vedio, animation technologies. They will be equipped with entry level knowledge of network and able to establish and maintain websites. Through studies in this course, students will be trained to self teach to update knowledge in technologies, and be able to use computers to do word processing, data management and information gathering.

In summary, this course is to train students with applied skills of computer usage, to train students in the skills of using computer systems, using office software and using internet, to improve their overall qualifications.

The purpose of this lesson: After learning it, Students can grasp some computer terminology and basic concepts, use Windows XP opreration system skillfully, master the Office software(including Word, Excel, Powerpoint,etc.), can process some audio/video/animation information basicly, and what's more, be knowleagable in internet and can found a website then do daily managemant.After learning the lesson, their self-learning & knowledge-updating ability can get advanced. Consequently, they own three abilities in word processing, data processing and information acquisition.
In a word,this course aims to cultivate students' practical ability of computer application, make them proficient in using computer operating system, office software and internet.
