In order to improve the scientific
calculator independent key mode, make scientific calculator keys are more
sensitive, faster response, calculator using STC89C58 microcontroller as control
core, the design of a microcontroller based on scientific calculator, using the
key mode of infrared touch screen to replace the traditional keyboard, keyboard
using 74HC14 six inverting Schmitt trigger drive, using LCD1602 as the display
module, program design with C language. The measurement results show that the
calculation of the calculator, function powerful, in addition to the basic
mathematical operations can be processed and operation of some special
functions, such as trigonometric function, logarithmic function operation. Can
also carry out transformation function, the function of the basic logic
operations. The calculator has the advantages of simple operation, easy to
use.

LCD1602 as a display module, using C language program design. Testing results show that the calculation of the calculator is so powerful
that in addition to the basic mathematical operations it can also make some special
function of processing and operation, such as some computing trigonometric
function and logarithm function. Also this can undertake the function of the system
transformation, the function of basic logic operations. The calculator operation
is simple and easy to use.
