1）ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Committee 负责编制 Code(BPVC)；
2）颁发Certificates of Authorization and Certification Marks。

National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors (NB or NBBI)美国锅炉压力容器检验师全国总部（协会）:
1）负责检验师的培训，考试，评定和认证；
2）编制 National Board Inspection Code (NBIC) 用于锅炉，压力容器在役检查的检验规范；
3）颁发 "NB" 证书和标志；
4）"R”，"VR” ,"NR" 钢印认证；
5) Test Lab. 认证；
6）Boiler and Pressure Vessel may be registered and the Manufacturer’s Data Report filed with NBBI。
