定语从句里的关系代词和关系副词怎么理解？

关系代词who,whom,whose,which,that,顾名思义,就是在句中可以指代某一部分,
比如,who可以做主语,whom做宾语,whose做定语,which,that则可以做主语,宾语,
比如说This is the gentleman who helped me out of the trouble.who就在定语从句中充当主语,指代the gentleman,还原就是the gentleman helped me out of the trouble.
再比如说The doctor whom you are looking for has gone abroad.whom在定语从句中充当的就是look for的宾语,指代the doctor,还原就是You are looking for the doctor.
关系副词when,where,why,就是在句中作状语,其中when指时间,where指地点,why表原因.
