Life Long Learning

In recent years, more and more office workers are trying to use their free time to learn, to complement for their knowledge deficiency gained within their schools, so as to get a promotion and more chance for personal development.
But what’s the general publics’ opinion towards this? According to a survey, different people possess different opinions but there is two viewpoints that is most recognized among them.
One is the con side, their point of view is “these people are completely out of their mind they’ve already got such a grueling work, instead of have a good rest after work they engage themselves in such works, at this age you’ve already past your learning period it’s too hard to learn now, it’s completely money consuming but rewardless! ”
The other is the pro side: they support this firmly, be able to come to themselves timely know what they lack of and try to improve themselves so as to become more competitive is good, both for themselves and the society for this not only improved their own comprehensive qualities but also urge others to learn so as to be better adapted to the society.
To me I firmly hold on to the pro side and I believe most of the people will. After all we can gain knowledge everywhere not necessarily in schools, there are a lot of things needs to be learnt as we go along, what’s more it’s only after we entered society and begin to work do we really know what we lacked then we’ll be learning with pertinence and avoid being aimless. Furthermore pursuing for perfection is a virtue, if our Chinese people in various fields all willing to improve there is no way that China won’t surpass those developed countries and become No.1.
I myself is one of those, it’s only after I entered society that I knew my deficiency in knowledge and is completely helpless in coping with the fierce competition. Especially in this world economy integrative period, the demand of English level is higher and higher, you level of English plays an important role in whether you can obtain an employment. Now I’m really regretful for not worked hard in school and really sorry for my parents and the teachers’ expectations. Of course as we learn now it’s not as easy as it’s in school we don’t have such time and energy sometimes I really felt like giving up but having seen my improvement it made me carry on. Unconsciously I remembered our teacher used to learning is a life long experience.
