survive与survivefrom的区别

严格说来survive from不是个词组，因此其中的survive和没有from时是一样的。可以是survive from，也可以是survive in，还可以是survive over等等。后面的介词实际上与其后的词组成介词词组。
上面所说的是当survive做不及物动词时的情况。

A: survive:
1) Few birds managed to survive the bad winter; 2) He didn't
survive long after the accident. 3) Most women will survive their spouses. 比丈夫...活得长/久
B: survive from (现在已很少用!)
1)Several buildings in the town have survived from medieval times.
("自"中世纪时期)
2) survive from cancer/disaster = survive cancer/survive disaster... C. an old custom which has the twenty-first century;D. The main building was demolished, but the library still a museum. E. I don't know how you all manage to Jeremy's salary. F. He is survived by his wife, Sue.妻子活得更长..
