A report from Grade2 Class3
Recently we 54 students in Grade2 Class 3 called for an activity to care for the elders. We are separated into five groups--each had a different target to finish. Group 1 paid a visit to the elders who live alone. They brought gifts to the elder people and stayed with them for a day. Group 2 helped the elderly people to do house work. Group 3 prepared several performances to entertain people. Group 4 invited elder people to school to live a happy day with them as students. They sit together, chatting, having lunch, playing music as well as taking part in physical exercises. Group 5 cook dishes and brought them to share with the elderly people. Each dish was cooked by the students themselves.
All the elderly people enjoyed being acompanied. Some of them even laughed to tears. They clapped their hands, laughed, sang songs . What a unforgetable day they have had!
