量距时用经过检定的钢尺,两人拉尺,两人读数,一人记录及观测温度。

每尺段要移动钢尺三次不同位置,三次丈量结果的互差不应超过2mm,取三段丈量结果的平均值作为尺段的最后结果。随之进行返测,如要进行温度和倾斜改正,还要观测现场温度和各桩顶高差。
